2023-2024 Winter Break Read-a-Thon.
Congratulations to all the students who participated in the 2023-24 Winter Break Read–a–Thon.
We are very impressed by the amount of reading they did over the winter break!
The results are in…
- The school raised a total of $2,521. Incredible!
- All the students who participated read a combined 31,411 minutes.
- 13 classes participated. Great job!
- The class with the highest participation rate was a tie between Ms. Arraial and Ms. Bruney’s classes. Well done!
- The student who read the most minutes was grade 3 student Mirabel in Ms. Sexton’s class with 2,880 minutes. Wow! Congratulations, Mirabel. Your prize will be awarded to you shortly.
- An honourable mention goes to grade 4 student Ella in Ms. Cullen’s class. Ella was a very close second with 2,866 minutes.
- And an honourable mention also goes to grade 2 student Margaret in Ms. Arraial’s class. Margaret raised the most money with $370.
- Lastly…. by reading a combined 5,868 minutes, the class that read the most minutes and wins the pizza party is Ms. Bruney’s grade 4 class!! Well done!
