Welcome back to another amazing year at Kimberley JPS! We have so many great events planned for this year and are looking forward to sharing them with you in time.
We’ll keep it brief, but here’s some news on current fundraisers and initiatives:
Pizza Lunch is BACK
We kicked off the return of Pizza Lunch with a FREE pizza-for-all our KJPS students. Our next pizza lunch is this Friday, October 3rd and the deadline to order for that day is TONIGHT so be sure to sign-up through School Cash Online. You can also sign-up for the remaining pizza lunches this term all the way up to the holiday break. A favourite of students and parents who don’t need to make sandwiches; pizza lunch is a great fundraiser for Council allowing us to support our initiatives one slice at a time.
Fresh From The Farm
We have launched a new fundraiser this year that brings the best of Ontario produce to you! Order veggie and apple bundles to celebrate the harvest and healthy eating – 40% of every sale goes directly to KJPS Council to help our students grow. Supporting our school and stocking up on fresh, local produce is a win-win so feel free to share with friends and family! The deadline to order is October 17th and delivery of the bundles for pickup will happen sometime in November just in time to cook up some delicious, hearty meals.
Lost and Found
Our Lost and Found got a refresh to help minimize the amount of clothes we have to donate every year. Seriously – it’s a lot! Please be sure to check the Lost and Found often for items your child might be missing. The easiest way to help reduce lost items is to label EVERYTHING as those items can be returned to classrooms by our volunteers. If you’re looking for great labels that don’t wear out or fall off, KJPS Council get 20% back from Mabel’s Labels orders when you go through their fundraising section and select Kimberley Public School – School Council (Toronto).
