Get ready to turn the page on our biggest reading challenge of the year – our annual Read-A-Thon!

All through the month of March, students will set their own reading goals and collect sponsors to cheer them on as they reach for new heights. Every kind of reading counts – from independent chapter books to bedtime stories read aloud – so everyone, even our Kindies, can join the fun!

How to participate:

  1. Download the Read-A-Thon form and set your goals: set a reading goal for how many minutes you will read during the month of March. Be bold and challenge yourself!
  2. Find sponsors: ask family and friends to sponsor your reading. Collect pledge payments from your sponsors (cash or via schoolcashonline.com).
  3. Get reading and track your minutes: Track how much you read during the month of March on the reading minutes form. All reading counts!
  4. Return your forms and fundraising: Put your pledge cash payments, pledge form and reading minutes form in an envelope or Ziploc bag and return it to your teacher on April 1.

The competition is on: the class with the most minutes read will win a pizza party, and there are awesome prizes for the top readers in each grade.
