We spend so much time and energy focusing on the little people in our lives. It can be hard to remember that this time in their lives is a great chance for us to build our village, too. Making new friends, or getting to know existing friends better, can develop into lasting relationships as our kids follow each other to middle and high schools (anywhere from 6-13 years!).
